Yewon is a textile student at Rhode Island School of Design with a passion for colors, print, attention to detail, and storytelling. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she moved to Pennsylvania during middle school. She is a green card holder in the United States.

As a lover of colors, she enjoys exploring the interplay between different shades and hues, discovering how they can evoke a wide range of emotions and moods in her work. Her background as a painter informs her fascination with prints in textiles, which she sees as a unique combination of painting and textiles. She finds that prints suggest storytelling in the same way that paintings do.

Flowers are a constant source of inspiration for her. Whether it's a subtle embroidery detail or a bold floral print, she believes that flowers can add a touch of romance to any design. With her attention to detail and keen eye for color, She strives to create works that tell a compelling story and capture the imagination of her audience.
